1. When you first join the call, please say your first name and the geographic area you are calling in from.
2. Please say your first name each time you contribute or ask questions.
3. Watch background noise. Everyone in the class can hear noise from where you are calling in from. Please use Mute as necessary.

7. Please do not record the class. The replay line will be available to listen to the class again as necessary.
8. Please keep the bridge line and replay line numbers confidential.
9. Relax, enjoy & have fun!

In our classes, we offer people the option of participating at whatever level they feel comfortable with. We promote inclusion of your input, as we believe in the 'wisdom of the group'. That said, if there are days when just showing up & listening is right for you, GREAT!

what is a teleclass?
A teleclass is a Group Learning Environment, accessed by the Telephone. 'Telephone classes'. Similar to a conference call, a group of people ‘meet’ in a virtual room, for shared learning around a specific subject.
While the main focus of the class is education around the program topic, teleclasses are often fun & playful, as they offer an environment for questions to be answered, group collaboration, and as appropriate to the class - support and networking.

At core harmony
most of our programs offer an emailed 'lesson' or information around weekly agenda ahead of time. Many have optional exercises to complete individually to start using the information personally right away. Beginning the learning ahead of time offers you time to obtain basic understanding of the topic at your leisure, and to email questions and areas you would like covered in greater depth to your leader before class. Group time on the teleclass is then spent reviewing, adding additional information, answering questions, inviting input from the wisdom of the group, and brainstorming around challenges.

the 'call'
The 'call' is coaching lingo referring to your teleclass, accessed by a phone call. While new to many in the general population, the benefits of teleclasses are plentiful. First, the convenience of a class accessed by phone makes maintaining the commitment to your class exceptionally easy. Whether you are stuck at work late, your schedule changes and you need to be out of town unexpectedly for business or personal reasons , you are home sick, on vacation, are at the beach for the day, are a homemaker with children to care for, or are just happy to be kind to the environment (and your budget!) by saving in gas expenses - your teleclass will still be in the same place, at the same time, no matter what location, country, or time zone you join in from.

Next - Savings. The cost of teleclasses is generally much less than individual personal coaching or in-person group classes, making high quality learning affordable for most budgets. Each person is responsible for their own phone charges in to the class, and for most people, this is much less costly than fuel. You will also save time in not having to travel to an external location to get to your class. Finally, there is an increased level of privacy innate in the separation of participants by phone that tends to offer a deeper level of participation, community and understaning of materials presented.

'bridge line'
The bridge line, is the virtual 'room' where we meet for classes. A bridge line 'bridges' the distance between many people, creating simple, affordable connection from multiple locations. The bridge line technology is similar to a conference call line, with the ability for individuals to mute themselves to block out background noise from others while still listening to the class. The difference most particpants feed back about teleclasses vs. conference calls it that a teleclass is much more fun, enlivening and positive than most conference calls. If you are on the phone all day and new to the teleclass format, check it out and see what you think!

'audio podium' / 'replay'
Most classes are recorded, and may be listend to again for review or if you are unable to join the class for any reason. Classes are confidential to class participants, and the bridge line and replay line information will be given to you after registration. As most people choose to share with their group with the understanding of this level of privacy, please do not share these numbers with anyone outside the class. Most classes may be reviewed for up to 21-days after the original class.

confidentiality
Unless you have been told your class is being used for a specific purpose outside of the regular class function, all teleclasses are confidential.

core harmony
holds your privacy in the highest regard, and does not share recorded classes or participant input with any other organizations for any reason. As we often cover health related topics, some sharing within the group may be sensitive and personal. Please maintain in this respect for others by refraining from discussing input from other participants with people outside of class. Additionally, while we want everyone to gain as much individually from the class, the focus of a teleclass is group learning and understanding of class topic materials.

Individual work or other resources may be recommended to you as appropriate, or as outside of the scope of practice of your leader.
