The first section of this course will be based on the
Body Way
™ e-book 'Authentic Eating™ Basics', written by Jane Latimer. One of the 5 lessons of the book will be emailed to you each week, prior to class. Our in person meetings will provide you with additonal information and related learning, as well as the opportunity to ask questions, share challenges and receive positive group support and collaboration.

Week one, you will be asked to create a SIMPLE 'Sacred Space' in your home, to have a quiet place set aside for relaxation and to complete the lessons and exercises presented in the course. If it has been on your 'To-Do' list to clear a spot for your home yoga practice, workouts, etc... this is your opportunity to finally take action. This spot will be your foundation throughout the class, and will provide you with a guaranteed place to take a few minutes to de-stress and unwind throughout the holiday season.

'core health' presents you with a new layer of learning around nutrition, fitness and stress management, with practical tools to help you re-connect to your body's wisdom and make organizing an abundant life simpler.

Redefining the Basics:
1. Understand Authentic Eating: the 3 Path Approcah to defining a 'Way of Eating
' that supports your Authentic Self:
~ Body Wisdom
~ Biochemistry
~ Lifestyle
2. Learn a simple Foundation of Health Habits for living healthy year round. Understand how to adapt these habits to maintain consistency through the changing seasons and activities of your year.
3. Understand Inner & Outer Resources, maximizing the benefits of what you have and pin pointing areas needing to be developed. Access your body's wisdom as your guide in deciding what is right for YOU amidst 'expert advice'.
4. Receive Organizational Tools to help you simply and easily log information from various area of your life for accountability, perspecitve and insight. Identify where you are today and set realistic and attainable goals to move forward safely.
5. Gain Resources to deepen learning on your own around the exceptional amount of information presented in this class!

If you are trying to lose weight, maintain your weight or avoid gaining the 5lbs. average that most people gain over the winter holidays, optional weight logs will be available.

The 'Authentic Eating Basics' portion of the class is the foundation
work for the full Body Way
program.

'holiday wellness'
The holidays and the winter season each present significant challenges to maintaining optimal health. Increased scheduling demands, social time, and in most areas - weather changes, ask for different types of exercise routines, food choices and organization of time.

In the second portion of the class, we adapt our basic skills to include learning around winter health and holiday socializing to maintain balance & a healthy immune system. We will also spend a small amount of time around budgeting and maintaining financial health in your holiday planning.

Last but certainly not least, the holidays are perhaps one of the best times of year to nurture the spirit. Whether you practice a formal religion or not, we offer ideas for cultivating a deeper connection to your highest self and the commuinty around you. Share in very special magic of the season by being fully relaxed, alive and 'present' in your body, engaging fully with those you care most about, and enjoying the sacredness and fun of this time.
